This year we have printed a Christmas Postcard – in fact, 10,000 of them!
We need your help in distributing them to every one of the more than 10,000 households in the parish boundaries.
We have divided the parish into 133 walkable zones – of various areas and sizes.
We are inviting every parishioner to choose one of these zones, and then to estimate how many houses there are in that zone.
Then take the appropriate number of postcards to distribute in your chosen zone. Don’t take any extras and return any left over.
The cards include a simple message of welcome and list the times of the 5 Masses that we are offering at Christmas.
It is probably best to do this after 15 December so that the cards achieve their maximum effectiveness.
You don’t have to interact with the householder, although you are very welcome to ring their doorbell and personally invite them to join you at the Christmas Mass of your choice. It is also okay to simply leave the postcard in their letterbox.
Before you take the cards to distribute them, we invite you to spend time in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to be with you.
Think about each person who may pick up the card. Say a prayer that this year they may find space for God in their life.
Continue to pray as you walk around your neighbourhood. Pray for people as you walk past them and pray for each house as you place the postcard in their letterbox or personally hand it to them.
Go gently along this way of outreach.

Look through the Advent Challenge Parish Maps – the parish has been broken down using 16 different pages of maps.
Once you have chosen the area where you want to share the cards, then complete the following form to claim the area. Note: only one person can claim any area. If your chosen area has already been claimed, choose a nearby one before it goes too!
