  • Day 1 of the Triduum begins at sunset
  • 7pm Mass of the Lord’s Supper
  • Collection is taken for the poor (to St Vincent de Paul Society Campbelltown)
  • Adoration at the altar of repose will continue until 10pm

Good Friday – 26 March

Day 1 of the Triduum continues

  • 10am Stations of the Cross at lower carpark
  • 11am – 12pm Sacrament of Reconciliation available in the church (2 priests)
  • 3pm Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion at School COLA
    Includes the scriptural reflection on the Lord’s Passion, the solemn intercessions,
    veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion for those excluded and marginalised.
  • Collection for the Christian Shrines in the Holy Land taken at both liturgies
  • 4:30pm – 5pm Sacrament of Reconciliation available in the church (2 priests)

Day 2 of the Triduum begins at sunset

Holy Saturday – 27 March

Day 2 of the Triduum continues

  • On Holy Saturday, the church waits in silence at the tomb of Jesus, grieving and lamenting.
    According to the ancient tradition of the Church, Mass is not celebrated today.
  • 11am – 12pm Sacrament of Reconciliation available in the church (1 priest)
  • [No 5pm Vigil Mass]

The 3 sacred days [Triduum] :: Day 3

Day 3 of the Triduum begins at sunset

7pm Mass of the Easter Vigil

  • The Easter Vigil begins in semi-darkness in anticipation of the resurrection of Jesus, which occurred early on Sunday – the first day of the week.
    Includes the Easter Proclamation, nine Scripture readings, and blessing of the Easter Water with loads of joy, music and song.
    This year we will also be fully initiating adults who have journeyed with the parish over the past year.
    Some will be baptised, confirmed and share Holy Communion; others (who have already been baptised) will be received into full communion in the Catholic Church by confirmation and receiving the Eucharist for the first time.

Easter Sunday – 28 March

Easter Sunday – Mass of the Resurrection

  • Easter Sunday morning at 7.30am, 9am; 10.30am
    Easter Sunday evening at 5pm
    A chance to proclaim the impact of the resurrection in each of our lives.
